DoggyTourer Weber Coupling
Each Weber clutch model is designed to meet specific needs, providing reliable and secure connections for various bicycle and trailer configurations. These clutches are designed to facilitate the attachment of bicycle trailers, such as DoggyTourer trailers, to bicycles and certain electric bikes.
Weber clutches are only available to purchase with a DoggyTourer trailer and can not be sold individually.
Weber EH Coupling
The EH coupling is specifically designed for use with bicycles that have a Hebie rear kickstand (Type 661 with a 40mm hole distance). It is not compatible with Type 662, which has a plastic head. This model includes two M6x30 screws for secure mounting. The EH coupling is ideal for bicycles requiring rear kickstand integration.
Weber EL/ES Couplings
The EL and ES couplings are designed for heavy-duty cargo trailers. The EL model supports a load capacity of up to 80 kg, while the ES can handle up to 100 kg. Both models feature a patented axle mounting system that works with solid, quick-release, and full-floating axles. Special polygon inserts are required to prevent rotation, ensuring stability during transport.
Weber EU Coupling
The EU coupling is a variant of the E-coupling, designed for assembly with special Ursus rear kickstands. It includes two M6x30 screws for installation. Like other E-couplings, it is compatible with bicycles and pedelecs up to 25 km/h but not suitable for S-pedelecs or high-speed e-bikes.
Weber EK Coupling
This model is tailored for short axle assemblies, accommodating axles with a parallel running length of 10-12mm. It includes a new safety belt with a drawbar foot for added security. The EK coupling is suitable for bicycles with specific axle configurations that require compact mounting solutions.
Weber ER Coupling
The ER coupling is designed for bicycles with Rohloff gear hubs, providing a secure fit on various Rohloff dropouts. It includes two M8 screws and retaining washers. This model is ideal for bicycles with unique gear hub configurations, ensuring a stable connection.
Weber EP Coupling
The EP coupling is intended for bicycles with Pletscher rear kickstands, featuring an 18mm hole distance with a through-hole. It includes two M5x40mm and two M6x40mm screws for mounting. This coupling is perfect for bikes that require integration with specific rear kickstand designs.
Weber E Coupling
The E coupling is the most universal model, compatible with a wide range of bicycle frames and wheel sizes. It features a bayonet lock system for easy, tool-free installation on screw and quick-release axles. Constructed from high-quality, rust-proof materials, the E coupling is suitable for transporting loads and children, with a permissible trailer weight of up to 80 kg.
Weber Kick Stand - Coupler B
This model integrates an adjustable kickstand with the coupling, supporting a trailer load capacity of up to 80 kg. It is designed for both children and freight transport, offering a framework-friendly strap attachment for secure mounting.
