What Does "Fika" Mean? The Story Behind FikaGO

"Fika" is Swedish, and it means more than a coffee break, though that's usually how it gets translated. It's closer to the idea of stopping what you're doing to actually be present with someone, or something, for a few minutes. FikaGO takes that idea and builds products around it: not just gear that gets the job done, but gear that makes the daily routine with your pet feel less like a chore.

You can see it in the details. The styling leans Nordic and understated rather than chasing trends, so it still looks right in a few years. The one-second fold and the aluminium frames aren't just spec-sheet features, they're the difference between wrestling with a stroller on a doorstep and just folding it and getting on with your day.

Co-founder Eric Guu has said pet products should "not only be functional, but also beautifully integrated into everyday life," and that's more or less the design brief for the whole range: engineering that works, paired with a look that doesn't feel like typical pet equipment.

British Vogue featured the collection in early 2026, which says something about who FikaGO is aiming at: people who care about design as much as they care about their dog being comfortable.
