The AirBuggy DOME 3 Brake is a premium Japanese-engineered city pet stroller designed for small dogs and cats, including taller small breeds and those travelling in pairs. With a deeper, more spacious cabin and a roof ceiling 6 cm higher than the DOME 2 SM, it offers a noticeably more comfortable ride for pets who need a little extra room. More Than a Stroller

The DOME 3 Brake is more than a pet stroller. The detachable cabin works independently as a pet carrier and is compatible with the AirBuggy ISOFIX car straps, making it a complete travel system from door to destination. A triangular three-wheel frame allows it to turn in a tight radius with a lightness that four-wheel designs rarely match, and the 17L basket carries up to 5 kg, well above the 2 to 3 kg typical of comparable strollers.

Key Features:

• Handbrake for controlled speed: a lever-operated handbrake on the handlebar acts on the rear wheels, giving you confident speed control on downward slopes, wet pavements, and uneven terrain. The Brake model's frame is also slightly narrower than the standard DOME 3, making it easier to navigate through tight spaces and busy areas.

• 180-degree open-air roof: opens from either the left or right side and can be held at any angle up to 180 degrees. Getting your pet in and out is effortless, and the roof can be fully detached when not needed.

• UPF 50+ UV protection: the canopy offers over 95% UV protection with a UPF 50+ rating, keeping your pet safe from harmful sun rays on warmer days.

• FIDLOCK magnetic buckle: magnetic buckles on both the front and back of the roof use FIDLOCK's one-touch locking system. Bring the roof close and it locks automatically. To release, simply pull the strap with one finger. Secure enough that it will not come undone on its own, yet quick and easy to operate with one hand.

• Spacious cabin: the deep cabin and elevated roof ceiling provide generous space for taller small dogs or multiple small pets travelling together.

• Extendable carry handles: non-slip handles on both sides extend for a more comfortable grip, designed to carry the cabin safely even with a pet inside, whether attaching it to the frame, lifting it into a car, or moving it around the home.

• One-touch frame removal: a single pull of the lever detaches the cabin from the frame instantly, with no fuss.

• Exceptionally compact fold: the frame folds down to just 30 cm in depth. At 53.5 cm wide when folded, it is narrower than most comparable strollers and roughly the same footprint as a standard suitcase, making it straightforward to store in a car boot or at the entrance to your home.

• 17L storage basket: a large basket at the base of the stroller holds up to 5 kg, giving you plenty of room for essentials on longer outings.

• Multi-holders: fits items from small accessories up to 500 ml bottles, with both cooling and heating functions. Included on both sides.

• Internal lead hooks x2: fitted inside the cabin to keep your pet safely secured throughout the journey.

• Air pump included: a portable air pump for tyre inflation is included as standard and can be stored in the basket.

• Foot brake: a rear wheel lock pedal keeps the stroller stationary when loading and unloading.

Why Three Wheels?

Most strollers use four wheels, but AirBuggy's three-point contact with the ground minimises play and keeps the stroller stable across uneven surfaces. Urban pavements are rarely smooth, and parks, gravel paths, and kerbs all add up over a walk. The pneumatic tyres absorb vibration before it reaches your pet, while precision wheel bearings reduce rolling friction to the point where the stroller moves with a touch rather than a push. The result is a ride that feels effortless for you and genuinely comfortable for your dog.

DOME 3 Brake vs DOME 3 Premier: What's the Difference?

Both models share the same cabin, 180-degree open-air roof, FIDLOCK buckles, compact fold, and handbrake. The Premier adds three further upgrades:

• Handle shape: the Brake has a curved, rounded handle that fits naturally in the hand. The Premier has a squared handle, designed to give a more stable grip specifically when braking.
• Tyres: the Brake uses standard air tyres. The Premier is fitted with off-road tyres for confident handling on rougher terrain.
• Stand lock: the Brake frame stands using the built-in stand. The Premier adds a locking mechanism that holds the frame securely upright on its own.
• Vegan leather piping: the Premier cabin features vegan leather trim detailing, adding a more premium finish.

Which size is right for my dog?

The DOME 3 Brake is available in Regular and Large.

The Regular is suited to Toy Poodles, Pugs, Miniature Pinschers, and similar small breeds, or multiple small dogs travelling together (load capacity 12 kg).

The Large is recommended for medium-small breeds such as American Cocker Spaniels, Shiba Inus, and Beagles, or multi-dog households with small to medium dogs (load capacity 20 kg). If you are unsure which size is right for your pet, please get in touch and we will be happy to help.
