MIMsafe MultiCage G4 Single Extra Large – Crash-Tested Dog Transport Cage
Whether you are travelling between jobs, heading away in the motorhome or transporting your dog in a suitably equipped van, the MIMsafe MultiCage G4 Single Extra Large offers a reassuringly robust, purpose-built space for your four-legged passenger. Made in Sweden, its practical square profile is designed for transport vehicles, motorhomes, multi-vans and pickups with appropriate anchoring points. This extra large single cage has one secure door and a fixed rear panel.

Safety & crash testing
MultiCage has undergone crash testing at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden using the ECE R17 method applied to vehicle cargo protection. Its steel construction is designed to absorb energy without splintering. Watch the MultiCage in a 50 km/h (approximately 31 mph) crash test below.
Materials & construction
Manufactured in Sweden from galvanised steel with a weather-resistant polyurethane finish, the MultiCage combines a durable protective structure with thoughtful day-to-day details. The lifting handles retract when not needed, while the gas-assisted door stays open as you help your dog in or out.

Please measure your vehicle's usable space and load points carefully before ordering. Allow for the cage's full width including knobs, as well as safe access to the door.
Installation & vehicle suitability
Important: The MultiCage must be anchored securely at all four corners using the supplied straps. Your vehicle must have suitable load loops. It is intended for appropriately equipped transport vehicles, motorhomes, multi-vans and pickups.
Installation directly against a vehicle's rear seat is not recommended, although it is not prohibited by the manufacturer. If considering this arrangement, ensure the cage does not interfere with the vehicle's deformation zone. MIMsafe recommends a clearance of 250–300 mm between the cage and the boot lid, and recommends its non-whiplash VarioCage range when installation against the rear seat is intended. Always consult the manufacturer's instructions and check vehicle compatibility.
Warranty & aftercare
Covered by MIMsafe's three-year manufacturer's warranty against qualifying defects in materials and workmanship under the manufacturer's terms and conditions. Keep your proof of purchase; exclusions apply, including damage from misuse or incorrect installation. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

We have now used the pet stroller 8 times, our dog is an older Labrador with mobility problems, it takes a bit of coaxing to get him in the stroller but once in we think he enjoys it, it gives him and us a chance to get outdoors again. The stroller is very well designed, the fold down ramp is a great idea, the mesh sides and front allow him to look at everything around him, and the front can be left open so that he can meet other dogs. The stroller is so easy to manoeuvre and a joy to push, the adjustable handle has 2 height settings the lowest is ideal for me being just under 5 foot. I have not used the rain cover yet or the bike adaptor so cannot comment on these. I hope the zips are good quality especially on the fold down ramp as this is used a lot. Overall we are very impressed with the stroller, we have had so many people asking where we got it from as they have never seen one for a larger dog before.

Easy order and quick delivery
Great buggy for my 15 year old cockapoo - eased him into it over a week and by the weekend he was loving the opportunity to rest his legs on our walks - well built, easy to assemble and Manöver. Plenty of room for the dog to sit or lie down with handy entry and exit options at the front and back. Did some off road adventures with him in Sussex which resulted in a slow puncture which was easy to fix with a bicycle repair kit - would recommend and have done so already!
Great design, good fit. Hopefully over time it will prove itself strong enough to stand up to holding a buggy.

Great pram for our Parson Russell Terrier, good size for him, easy to set up/pack down and easy to manoeuvre. Quite sturdy, feels safe when he’s in it. Wasn’t sure if he would go in but he seems to enjoy himself in there. He’s almost 13 and gets a bit tired on a longer walk so it’s great to give him a bit of a break. Would thoroughly recommend it, a reasonably priced nice looking pram.
